ESN Lappeenranta Finnish Evening

Have you ever wondered why Finns do some things in a certain way but never had a chance to ask about it?

Have you wanted to try some Finnish food - or even baking them yourself?

You want to know what this simple Finnish word means: "epäjärjestelmällistyttämättömyydelläänsäkäänköhän" ?

Now is your chance to do all of that and also many things extra - in the Finnish Evening by ESN Lappeenranta and LUT Winter School on 10th of January 6pm onwards at LUT Beach Sauna.

And what would a Finnish evening be without a sauna? We will have not only one but two saunas by the lake for you to enjoy!

This event is totally free of charge and it's only for ESN members and LUT Winter School participants. 

If you are an exchange/degree student in Lappeenranta, you need to provide your ESNcard on entry. In addition you must register to the event so that we have enough ingredients for our cooking (sign up will start on Sunday 7th of January at 3 pm!)

If you are taking part in LUT Winter School, you don't need have the ESNcard or to sign up for this event - you are welcome to join :)

Our goal is to offer you all our Finnish knowledge and a perfect opportunity to ask all your questions concerning Finland and to get to know each other.

We are looking forward seeing all of you there! For those who haven’t been at the Beach Sauna let’s meet at 5:45 pm in front of LUT and go there together.
