Come try out playing kyykkä with ESN Lappeenranta!
For those of you unfamiliar with kyykkä, it is a Finnish sport where large wooden bats are thrown at a line of wooden cylinder pairs in order to eject them from the field and mark points. If you've never tried it, come experience this part of Finnish culture and have fun with us.
The sign up for the teams is open until Thursday 18th of January 23:59. Teams are made out of 4 players. If you don't have a complete team or want to join on your own because your friends have stage fright, you can still sign up. We will create teams with all the uneven participants, allowing you to meet new people in the process.

Tule hiomaan kyykkätaitojasi ESN Lappeenrannan kanssa!
Jos kyykkä ei ole sinulle tuttu laji, kyseessä on perinteinen karjalainen ulkona pelattava peli. Kyykässä pyritään puisia kyykkämailoja, eli karttuja, heittämällä poistamaan puiset sylinterit, eli kyykät, pelineliöstä mahdollisimman vähin heitoin.
Jos peli on ennestään tuttu on tämä turnaus hyvää harjoitusta taas kevään koitoksia varten.
Ennakko-ilmoittautuminen joukkueisiin on avoinna torstaihin 18.1. klo 23.59 asti. Joukkueet tyypillisesti koostuvat 4-6 pelaajasta. Vaikka sinulla ei olisi joukkuetta, mutta haluat silti osallistua, voit silti ilmoittautua. Muodostamme paikan päällä halukkaista joukkueet – samalla voit tutustua uusiin ihmisiin!
