Hiking Club Ulvova Susi (UlSu) and Erasmus Student Network (ESN) Lappeenranta are organizing one-day hiking trip to Repovesi National Park on Saturday 23rd of September.
Repovesi National Park is a beautiful national park north of Kouvola, 100km from Lappeenranta. Length of the walk will be around 12 km. You will experience the views from sharp Olhava mountain to beautiful forest and lake, walk through suspension bridges, see the old wooden slide for floating logs, prepare food at the campfire, and much more. Previous hiking experience is not required!

The bus will leave from LUT main entrance at 8:00am, BE AT THE UNIVERSITY 7:45am (Saturday 23.9.). From Repovesi we leave at 6pm, being back in Lappeenranta at 8pm.

Good hiking shoes (sneakers minimum)
Water-proof clothing in case it may rain
Drinking water (some 1,5l)
Food and snacks
Backpack to carry all these
You will need to carry your own food, nothing can be bought on the way. We have one pause at campfire for grilling, if you want to do that. Preferably bring some easy to grill, like sausages or vegetables which can be put in a stick! Bring enough fast food like sandwiches, nuts, fruits, protein bars etc.

Tickets will be sold in the Student Union lobby:
- Thursday 14th of September at 10-12 o'clock
- Friday the 15th of September at 13-14.30 o'clock
