Finnish Evening with ESN Lappeenranta

Have you ever wondered why we Finns do somethings in a certain way but never had a chance to ask about it?

Have you wanted to try some Finnish food - even baking them yourself?

Do you want to know what this simple Finnish word means: "epäjärjestelmällistyttämättömyydelläänsäkäänköhän"?

Now is your chance to do all of that and also many things extra! ESN Lappeenranta presents "The Finnish Evening" on 12th of January 6pm onwards at LUT Beach Sauna.

Finnish evening is a traditional event that has been very popular. We will bake together some Finnish goodies called korvapuusti and serve you some karjalanpiirakka. In addition there will be some other Finnish specialties available. And of course what would a Finnish evening be without a sauna? We will have not only one but two saunas by the lake for you to enjoy!

This event is totally free of charge and it's only for ESN members and LUT Winter School participants. For ESN members, you need to provide your ESNcard on entry, and in addition you must register to the event so that we have enough ingredients for our cooking. 

PLEASE NOTE: This event has a limited amount of participants, as there is not more space in the building. Link for the sign up will be available during the weekend.
